My Family:  My wife’s name is Dianne. She is my partner in life and for life.  Together we have two children, a boy and a girl.

My story:  I was raised in a pastor’s home and vowed to never be a pastor.  My parents are wonderful people, but I didn’t want to ever have to deal with the frustrations of being a pastor.  I was determined to get my degree in business, make a lot of money and support the Kingdom of God from a distance.  I did get a degree in Business Administration from Southwestern Assemblies of God University where I received a minor in Bible and later pursued a Master’s Degree in Bible and Doctrine.  After graduation, I came to serve at Bloomfield Assembly of God as an Associate Pastor and later I served at First Assembly of God in Farmington, New Mexico as a Worship/C.E. pastor.  In March of 2003 my wife and I set out to plant a church.  And here we are today!

My favorite Scripture:  Ephesians 3:20 “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

My Motivation:  I really want people to live a great life.  God is great, so it stands to reason that His people should be great as well.  That greatness only comes as we grow in our understanding and relationship with God.  So I do my best to teach people God’s Word so that they have the opportunity to experience all the greatness God has in store for them.

My Family:  Married to Brenda have since 1976 with three wonderful (of course) adult children; Christof (married to Megan), Peter (married to Heather), and Erin (married to Nathan) and two marvelous grandchildren Jonathan and Daniel courtesy of Pete and Heather.

My Story:  I have a BS EET degree and retired after 20 years teaching techy stuff at San Juan College. I also took Bible classes (about 70 Credits) from Emmaus Bible College and Fuller Seminary.  In my younger days, I enjoyed working with a coffee house ministry in Phoenix, a Bible Camp backpacking ministry, and a discipleship training program for teens.

My Motivation:  My passion is developing leadership within the church that results in ‘passing the baton’ to each succeeding generation and developing a culture within the church where everyone views themselves as a ‘minister’.  Little Known Fact:  I once tied a couple of Junior High students to a tree in a lightening storm and all of us survived the experience.

Thought for the Day:  My current favorite phrase is ‘Existential Epistemology’ (good to throw into a conversation if it is getting boring); the bumper sticker version of which is: Sin Makes You Stupid!
